I start my mornings walking with my mom. My favorite morning snacks are broccoli and
non fat yogurt.I enjoy my dog food however I prefer to eat when no one is watching me. I am a very discreet little girl. You will find me lounging and sleeping during the day. I am most active at 8:00 p.m. before bedtime.  I really love warm weather when mom and dad take me out with them to restaurants and cafes.  My mom and dad visit with their friends at trendy restaurants and you will find me on their lap or sitting adoringly at their feet. I can be excitable though. I love the feel of the wind on my face.  I love to bark at other dogs when I am on the leash. I am very protective of my mom and dad. I know they love me.  I am the center of their world.

Gosh, I remember when I saw my mom and dad for the first time I knew they would become my my mom and dad.  I was so little. I was only 5lbs. and two months old. My mom and dad were being interviewed by the shelter and my foster family.  I scampered up to my dad and he picked me up.  I scurried up to his face and give him a whole lot of licks. Every morning when I wake up I go looking for my dad to kiss him.  If his face is covered I go looking for his feet and I sit there kissing his feet.
Then, I kiss his face a thousand times.  He is my daddy and I am his little girl.

I am named after Queen Isabel of Spain

My mom grew up in a Honolulu neighborhood called Kahala. That is how I got my middle name.  My dad named me Isabel because his mom grew up in Barcelona, Spain.  My grandma started the tradition of making paellas at Christmas and for my dad's birthday.  My mom has kept up that tradition since.  My dad is proud of my mom because she can cook up a great paella too. My dad named me after a famous Spanish Queen named Isabel who was married to King Ferdinand of Spain. I am every bit a queen myself. I am fussy about my food.  I enjoy being groomed.  I spend hours every day sleeping like a queen in my mommy's bed. I will lick myself clean like a cat. My mom and dad love me a lot.  I picked my dad.  When I first saw him sitting before me.  I let him pick me up and I licked his whole face.  My dad looked sideways at my mom and I knew I would go home with them that day. I am a very lucky dog. My mom loves the hill where she grew up.  Her mom still lives in the house where my mom was raised. My mom's family is large and loving. My mom wants to take me to Kahala to meet my family and mom doggie cousins who visit grandma every weekend.

My mommy limits my snacks because I need to eat my dog food.  When I wake up after mommy takes me for a morning walk, mommy gives me broccoli and carrots as a snack with my dog food. I greedily eat my broccoli and carrots.  Other times mommy gives me chicken wrap chew logs she buys from Trader Joe's. Mommy bought a kong toy she found at Target.  Mommy fills it with my favorite snack which is mozzarella light string cheese from TJ's. Mommy and daddy

give my snack to me this way when they run errands around town. My vet says my weight is normal.  My coat is luxurious and healthy. My eyes are bright and clear. Other than veggies my diet is exclusively dog food.  My tummy is extra sensitive and I can't tolerate people food. When my mom and dad eat their meals I sit at their feet and beg for their food. They are never tempted to give me anything else because it is not good for me.  My mommy loves to cook Spanish cuisine.  She makes my daddy a paella for the Holidays.

Kailua Beach, Island of Oahu, Hawaii

When my mommy and daddy go to Hawaii they love to picnic, and swim at Kailua, Beach. My mommy remembers her maternal grandparents loved to visit Kailua Beach too.  I sure would love to feel the wind on my face and smell the fresh Hawaiian air.  My mommy likes the song IZ sings called "White Sandy Beach".

I am in my glory playing with my Morkie friend. My favorite activity is wrestling, tumbling,
and playing with my dog friends. When my mom and I drive up to the dog park, I squeal with delight because I know I am going to have fun.

As you can see I am a happy dog.  I am pictured with my little dog park friend a sweet Morkie. I enjoy playing with doggie friends I meet when my mom and my dad take me to the dog park.  I love to run, play, and chase.  I will run up to a dog and initiate play.  I will nudge them and turn and see if their are running after me. I am usually the little dog that will start the little dogs to run around and chase after me.
